ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE

2 cups asparagus, fresh, 2” lengths
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 oz. sliced mushrooms
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 can French fried onion rings (3oz.)

Butter a casserole dish. Layer asparagus on bottom; then soup, mushrooms, and ½ the cheese. Repeat. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle onion rings on top and bake for 5 minutes more.
