Granny Smith apples, cut in quarters and peeled
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 pkg. crescent rolls
1 cup orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon to taste
Wrap 2 quarters of apples per crescent roll and place smooth side down in baking dish.
Mix sugar, butter, OJ, and vanilla in saucepan; heat, stirring until dissolved. Boil until thin syrup. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 350ยบ until tops of rolls are lightly browned and juice is thick.
